…the team did an amazing job on our driveway extension and retaining wall. Although its the little things that make these guys stand out, like aligning the sleepers with the existing wall, regularly cleaning the site as they worked and great communication.

FAQ

Questions people ask before they pour

Straight answers. For anything else, call David on 0412 752 713.

How much does a concrete driveway cost?

Every job gets a free, fixed-price quote worked out on the square metres, the concrete type and how complex the site is, so there are no hidden costs. Call or text David on 0412 752 713 for yours.

What does your quote include?

Site preparation, excavation, formwork, steel reinforcement, pouring and clean-up. If old concrete has to come out first, we remove it as part of the job.

How long does a concrete job take?

Most residential projects are finished within 3 to 7 days, depending on the weather and curing.

How thick is your concrete?

All on-ground work is 100 mm thick and stairs are 250 mm. We are happy to change that on request.

What strength concrete do you use?

25 MPa for all residential work, unless you ask for something else.

Do you build retaining walls?

Yes. We build concrete sleeper retaining walls in charcoal, sandstone and timber-look finishes, from small garden walls to tiered, boundary, pool and replacement walls. Each one gets a solid foundation, quality steel posts and proper drainage to relieve water pressure.

Do you do exposed aggregate?

Yes. It is one of our most popular driveway finishes, and it suits patios and paths too. Exposed aggregate is slip resistant, low maintenance and comes in a wide range of colours, stones and mixes.

Can you work on a tight or sloping site?

Yes. We regularly work down narrow side access, behind existing homes and on sloping blocks, using specialist mini equipment. We just need clear access of at least 1.5 m.

Can you replace an old cracked driveway?

Yes. We remove the existing concrete, prepare the site and build your new driveway from start to finish.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. We hold QBCC licence 15461375 for concreting, and we are fully licensed and insured.

What areas do you cover?

Ipswich and its suburbs, including Yamanto, Karalee, Springfield Lakes, Ripley, Brassall, Raceview, Dinmore and Booval, plus Brisbane's western suburbs, Logan, the Lockyer Valley, Toowoomba and the Gold Coast.
